Monday Meetings – Eric Adjaidoo

Today’s Monday meeting is a special one. Firstly the framework was developed by the Get On Up Community Researchers and Reporters. Secondly the interviewee was Eric Adjaidoo who is a Clinical Nurse Specialist, and is about to leave Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust after 30 years of service to Black and minority ethnic communities. He has worked in partnership with Bright Ideas Nottingham.

BME Cancer Communities Event – 12th July 2011

BME Cancer Communities presents Too Quiet! Too Long! Event. This will be supported by Bright Ideas Nottingham and the African Caribbean Health Network. It is part of the ethnic minority cancer awareness week. This event will be on the 12th July 2011 at 10am till 3pm at the Nottingham voluntary Action Centre. This event is to raise awareness about cancers affecting our communities.

I Don’t Do Computers…

 Today we are nearing an end to our six week “I don’t do computers” course, Today is our last day and we aim to make it a joyous and beneficial one. We are pleased to say it has been a great success and we have recieved positive feedback from many Champions. We sincerely hope each and every one has learned something new and enjoyed this experience.

 The Question is, do you do computers now?
