From November 2011 – March 2012 Bright Ideas Nottingham presented an inspirational leadership course for women, by women, called Women Leading For A Change.
The course was designed to introduce local women from all backgrounds to the idea and possibilities of leadership, whether they wanted to take the lead in their community, start a new project, inspire others or develop personally.
The course helped women to develop valuable skills in leadership and communication, whilst helping them to grow in confidence and discover their own potential. Click here to find out more information.
A screening event which Bright Ideas Nottingham presented took place on 8th March 2012, International Women’s Day, and was a chance for all the women who had taken part on the course, along with those who hadn’t, to watch a short film produced by the Broadway which was made up of extracts from the speakers at the different inspirational events.
The event programme also included; Panel and Audience Discussion, Drama Queens (an improvisation by some on the women that were on the course), presentations by Mary Moss- Resource Development, WEA, Clare Caves- External Evaluator, CEFET, about the future of ‘Women Leading or a Change’ and Snapshots of Women Leaders (a short film made up of photographs taken from workshops throught the course) See this short film below.
This course was brought to you by Bright Ideas Nottingham, in association with CEFET, WEA, Adult and Community Learning Fund, Broadway, this project had been funded by the Skills Funding Agency.

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time
a comment is added I get three emails with the same
comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
Cheers!
