Who are you and what is your role at Bright Ideas?
I’m Kathleen McKay, I am the Network co-ordinator for Champions of Change and project assistant at Bright Ideas.
When did you start working at Bright Ideas?
At the start of September 2010.
What is your favourite thing about working here?
The people.
What do you aim to achieve in 2011 with Bright Ideas?
To keep learning and growing and to keep up the good work.
What did you do before Bright Ideas was part of your life?
Property inspector.
Where can you be found when you’re not in the office?
In my pyjamas at home.
What is your funniest memory or moment whilst working at Bright Ideas?
Dan and Chris on stage at council house at the Champions of Change launch in September 2010. Also the gathering at the end of 2010 was really funny; we put on a play as a leaving gift for a former colleague Tanimola, where I was a fairy, we had such fun that day.
What are you most looking forward to in 2011?
Learning more and achieving more. Also, I can’t wait for my holiday in Mexico at the end of April, two of my closest friends are getting married out there.
What was your best memory of 2010?
Watching my puppy being born.
Describe yourself in five words.
Bubbly, friendly, communicative, inquisitive and adventurous.
What is your one weakness?
Films with a happy ending.
What is an interesting fact about you?
I have Sky dived out of a plane from 13 and a half thousand feet.
What can you not live without?
People and music.
If you were a colour what colour would you be and why?
I would have to be the rainbow, because I am the whole spectrum of colours depending on many factors including the weather, the time of day or even what company I am in.
What is the best idea you’ve had at the company?
I had the idea to change the Champions of Change news letter from an information letter to a newspaper style.
