Set up in 1996, Bright Ideas Nottingham is a vibrant, pioneering, community-based social enterprise that works with people to influence change and improvements in their communities. We believe that the community voice should be heard and that it is communities that can inspire and direct the most necessary and positive changes in the places where they live, study and work. Bright Ideas Nottingham seeks to improve the quality of, and access to, institutions and services for diverse people using cultural brokerage and community engagement and involvement. Many of our projects support community activism and encourage people to become involved through volunteering.
We have local, regional and national reputation for designing and delivering radical, innovative projects which include: Research and evaluation; Impact assessment; Training and development; Devising campaigns and information materials; Hosting vibrant events; Training teachers, trainers and mentors and; Working with people from diverse communities.
